PikoBuy Seller Page Checklist: Verify a Find Before Saving

A product link should earn its place in your spreadsheet. Check the final source page, selected option, price scope and unsupported claims before a temporary discovery becomes a saved PikoBuy find.

Decide what “saved” means before opening seller pages

A saved row should mean more than “I may want this.” It should identify a live source page, a plausible exact option and enough evidence to resume the decision later. This is a record-quality standard, not a declaration that the seller or product is trustworthy.

PikoBuy's current beginner guide tells users to find products on marketplaces including Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian and Yupoo, confirm specifications, colour and size, and save item or store information. Users can then paste a product link or keywords into PikoBuy. Those steps support a structured seller-page check, but they do not verify every statement made by a merchant.

PikoBuy's service terms make the boundary clearer: the platform displays third-party shopping links and is not the actual seller, and it cannot review every merchant or product for quality, safety, legality, authenticity or accuracy. Your checklist should therefore answer a narrower question: is this specific offer documented well enough to keep researching or submit without inventing missing details?

Freeze the final source page, not the route you used to reach it

Start after redirects have finished. Save the final URL, marketplace, product identifier, store name, listing title and check date. A social post, search result or copied redirect may help discovery, but it is not a stable substitute for the final seller listing. Preserve the source alongside any imported PikoBuy view.

Confirm that the page still represents the intended product. Check its category, construction, included parts and model wording. A different item, store home, deleted notice or login wall cannot support an order-ready row. Mark the link state rather than silently replacing it.

If the source omits a size chart, material claim, included accessory or availability, write “not shown.” Keep a new revision when the page changes so the spreadsheet records when the evidence was true.

  • Final seller URL and marketplace
  • Product identifier and store identity
  • Exact visible title and product scope
  • Check date and link state
  • Missing decision-critical evidence

Rebuild the exact offer from selectable fields

A seller page often describes a family of offers. Select the intended colour, size, batch, model, package or quantity. Recheck price, image, availability and option label after each selection. The lowest price may belong to a different state.

Copy original option strings before adding an interpretation. Preserve units and version labels when they affect identity. If translation merges two distinct options, keep both source labels and flag the ambiguity.

Check dependencies. A size may exist only for one colour; a price may require a minimum quantity; a package may exclude an accessory shown in the gallery. Keep one buyable configuration per row.

PikoBuy's guide requires specification, colour, size and quantity at submission and warns that prices are subject to actual purchase. A row without an exact option remains a discovery lead, not an order instruction.

Separate observable details from seller-authored claims

Classify each important statement before relying on it. A visible zipper count, pocket layout or printed measurement table is directly observable page content. A fibre composition, grade, waterproof rating, authenticity statement or durability promise is a seller-authored claim unless supported by suitable independent evidence. A gallery image may demonstrate appearance but not hidden material or long-term performance.

Record the wording with its source rather than upgrading it. Write “seller states 100% cotton,” not “confirmed cotton,” when no independent verification exists. Write “chart shows 54 cm chest width using an unclear method,” not “fits medium.” If the claim cannot be checked before purchase, decide whether it is a must-have requirement, a preference or an accepted uncertainty.

Look for contradictions inside the same page: title versus specification table, selected option versus image, main description versus seller note, or chart units versus diagram. A conflict should pause the row until it is resolved. Do not choose whichever version is more convenient.

Check the commercial scope without mistaking it for product quality

Attach every price to currency, selected option, quantity, selling unit and check date. On wholesale-style pages, distinguish one item from one pair, set, pack, deposit or add-on. Record whether a quantity tier applies and whether domestic seller-to-warehouse delivery is shown separately. Do not calculate value from the headline price alone.

Availability labels also need scope. A general page can remain live while one size is unavailable. Seller dispatch wording is not the same as warehouse receipt, and a historical sales count does not prove current stock. PikoBuy says actual purchase conditions can differ and that an out-of-stock order is refunded; preserve the current page state so later changes can be explained.

Keep price evidence apart from quality evidence. A more expensive option is not automatically better, and a high discount is not proof of value. The checklist should verify what the amount buys, not assign a quality conclusion from price.

Use store context to form questions, not a universal reliability score

Store pages may display age, activity, follower, transaction, return-customer, location or protection fields. Save only visible fields, with labels and dates. Definitions differ and may not be comparable across marketplaces.

A store signal can suggest whether to ask about maintenance, after-sales conditions or made-to-order status, but it cannot repair a mismatched SKU. Product evidence takes priority over a store impression.

Treat seller descriptions and banners as claims, not endorsements. Avoid point systems that hide a failed must-have behind soft positives. A large audience cannot compensate for an unavailable option.

Apply a save, pause or reject decision

Save when the source, configuration, price scope and critical claims are documented. Pause when one answer could change the purchase. Reject when the link is replaced, the option is absent, the price represents another product or a non-negotiable requirement fails.

Use reason codes such as source mismatch, option ambiguous, price scope unclear, chart method missing, quantity conflict or availability stale. Reopen saved finds before submission or after a material delay. Keep the old evidence date: a saved find is a controlled snapshot, not a permanent guarantee.

Worked example: audit one T-shirt listing before PikoBuy submission

Assume a page advertises a heavyweight T-shirt with several colours and sizes. The headline price is low, the gallery includes two fabric weights, and the chart does not say whether chest width is measured flat. The black XL option is the intended purchase.

  1. Save the final seller URL, product identifier, store name, title and September 7 check date.
  2. Select black and XL, then record the price and availability shown for that state.
  3. Keep the seller's fabric-weight wording attached to the exact option; do not borrow the heavier claim from another gallery image.
  4. Record the chart values and mark the chest-measurement method unresolved.
  5. Check whether quantity one uses the displayed amount and whether seller-to-warehouse delivery appears separately.
  6. Pause the row because the measurement method could change the size decision.
  7. If clarified, save the answer, evidence date and exact option labels.
  8. At PikoBuy submission, compare the imported specification, colour, size, quantity and price with the source record.

This process does not pronounce the store good or bad. It prevents the spreadsheet from presenting an incomplete offer as a verified product. After warehouse arrival, review the available photos against the order record and act within the current return rules if visible identity or condition differs.

Fact-check basis

Checked September 7, 2026 against PikoBuy's current Beginner's Guide, Terms of Service and Returns & Exchanges page. These sources support marketplace-link discovery, saving item or store information, exact order fields, variable purchase conditions and seller-related evidence limits. No seller score, stock promise, quality claim, dispatch time or authenticity conclusion is invented.

Continue the product-research workflow

Use the source-link verification guide when a route obscures the original page, the Weidian option and seller-signal guide for that marketplace, and the warehouse photo routine after the selected item arrives.
